Koala Child Care Centre is a community-based early childhood centre dedicated to educating and caring for children from 8 weeks to 5 years old. We are proud to be rated as exceeding in all 7 quality areas. Located on the grounds of Sutherland Hospital, Koala Child Care Centre boasts a wonderful team of educators. We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Diploma Trained Educator to join our Birth-2-YEAR-OLD room.

If you have a passion for learning and teaching children from Birth to 5 years, possess good communication skills, and are patient, empathetic, creative, adaptable, observant, and organised, this is the job for you.
We are seeking someone with a sound knowledge of child development and the ability to implement a play-based learning environment to strengthen our team of educators and enhance our centre.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Must hold a Diploma in Children's Services
- Have a Working With Children Check number or be willing to obtain one
- Current child protection qualifications
- First aid, asthma, and anaphylaxis training
- Able to provide 2 references
Position: Full-Time Diploma Educator or Part-Time Job Share

Education Traineeship (18 months)
Koala Child Care Centre is a community-based centre which is rated exceeding in 7 quality areas NQS. It is located on the grounds of Sutherland Hospital and has a wonderful team of educators.
We are looking for a dynamic person with a passion for learning and teaching children from Birth to 5 years, who is motivated and has good communication skills, both written and verbal. This is an 18-month learning experience where the successful applicant will be provided with the opportunity to attain a certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Koala offers its staff above award conditions such as paid breaks and generous off the floor programming times as well as above award pay conditions.
