My purpose is to establish a long-term, fulfilling career in the field of early childhood education, specifically focusing on children aged from birth to six years. I aspire to create and work within an organisation that aligns with my vision, one that is committed to providing exceptional care and education to children while fostering trust-based relationships with families. In my role as a Director and Early Childhood professional, I hold strong beliefs in the importance of nurturing children's development and facilitating meaningful connections with families, aiming to create a positive impact in their lives.

Navigating the world through exploration, I find joy in travel, embracing new cultures and landscapes. Health and physical activity are my daily rituals. Oslo, our lively puppy, brings playfulness to my days. I cultivate sustainability through my love of gardening, growing produce and caring for the environment. Grounding me in warmth and togetherness I love creating cherished moments with my family.

I have been working in Early Childhood Education and Care since 2006. The early years are the most crucial in a person’s life, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to support children and their families during this formative time.
I place a strong value on the wellbeing of children, families, and educators, as these are the foundations on which learning and development grow. Children can only truly engage in learning when they feel safe, secure, and connected. Supporting educator wellbeing and creating trusting relationships with families are essential parts of this.
Nature is also an important influence in my view of childhood. Growing up in the countryside on the far north coast, I have fond memories of playing in mud, exploring creeks and dams, and building cubbies in the bush. I love supporting children to connect with nature so they, too, can create these meaningful memories and develop a deep appreciation for the natural world.
I see childhood as a unique and precious stage of life that should be honoured, not rushed or treated only as preparation for the future. I want children to experience an environment that gives them time—time to wonder, time to create, time to connect with others, and most importantly, time to understand themselves. I am equally passionate about inclusion and am committed to ensuring that every child, family, and educator feels welcomed, valued, and supported to be their authentic selves.

​Personal Interests:

​Outside of work, my greatest passion is my daughter, who brings joy and inspiration to my life every day. I am also deeply connected to yoga and meditation, practices I enjoy regularly and love sharing with others whenever I can.
Spending time in nature—whether at the beach or exploring the national park—is something that grounds and restores me. I also love writing, cooking delicious meals, and immersing myself in the arts, from visiting galleries to enjoying live performances.
